Why Don't You Speak

This is a realistic and emotional novel about "love and dependence" in intimate relationships. Chen Yi and Zhou Yu have been in love for three years. From the beginning, they talked about everything, but later they gradually became estranged due to distance, pressure and different intimacy needs. The more afraid one is of losing, the more he wants to get closer; the more one feels suffocated, the more he wants to retreat. Those seemingly trivial quarrels eventually consumed the original deep feelings bit by bit. What the story tries to discuss is not who is right or wrong, but why two people who clearly love each other slowly push each other away through misunderstandings, temptations and silences.
