Steam: I'm Definitely Not the Kingdom's Scourge!

Lin Zhiming transmigrates to the Kingdom of Ingston in the age of steam.

Starting as a low-ranking patrol officer, he works hard and diligently without complaint, eventually rising to become the Home Secretary in charge of the kingdom's security.

On his first day in office, a top-secret document is placed before him. It lists the evil forces devouring the kingdom:

[1. An indescribable agent in the mortal world, a blade hanging over the kingdom. No one knows when he'll strike!]

[2. The head of an underground intelligence organization, making our own intelligence service look like child's play!]

[3. A secret tutor to the wives of noblemen, whose conduct is utterly scandalous! He's corrupting the kingdom's morals and leaving the ministers weaker by the day!]

[4. That top-tier literary genius is about to drain every last pound from our country!]

I understand all that, but why does this list describe things I'm doing right now?

So I'm the kingdom's biggest scourge?!
