Mom, I'm Not Calling the Police This Time

I watched the entire thing on the security footage: my eighty-two-year-old mother being slapped, grabbed by the hair, and knocked to the floor from behind by her live-in caregiver. The next day, I didn't call the police. I smiled as I wrote the platform a thank-you letter and renewed the after-sales protection plan for 8,800 yuan. Then I personally recommended this five-star caregiver, who had never received a negative review, to the platform owner's mother. Their home has the same kind of security system as mine, only four times as expensive, and there's no way to delete the footage.
