When the Tide Rises, We Are Young

Amid the tides of the times, countless young people are trapped in the maze of employment.

Yu Bowen graduates in his senior year and struggles through the flood of job seekers. Just as he finally secures a place at the front of a classroom, a decline in his students’ grades gets him ruthlessly fired by a private school.

Zheng Sisi, once a campus internet sensation admired by everyone, loses her glow and hits one dead end after another in the face of reality.

Fate brings the two down-on-their-luck young people together again on the street.

Unwilling to surrender to life, they decide to start a business together.

They begin by buying stock for a small shop and selling it at retail, then expand both online and offline. They weather losses and skepticism, overcome countless hardships, and build their own factory step by step, bringing production and sales under one roof.

This is a story of ordinary people striving to get ahead, filled with the struggle to make ends meet, the warmth of standing by each other, and the burning passion of young people who refuse to let their fire go out. Even at the bottom, you can wait for the tide to rise.
