Highway Survival: I Win First Place with a Spatula

System Announcement: Congratulations to player "Number 77777" on unlocking the Chef class. Lian Qi stared at the giant spatula in her hands, lost in thought. Other people got classes like Warrior, Artisan, and Apothecary. What was she supposed to do with a kitchen utensil on an apocalyptic highway? As it turned out, there was plenty she could do! Other people got equipment drops from monsters; she got ingredient drops. Other people took medicine for buffs; she could get buffs from eating her own dishes. And the effects of her cooking grew more and more outrageous. "The sandstorm's pretty bad today... Wait, why am I snapping my fingers?" "Eat this dish and you'll get a temporary buff, dear." Before long, players across the entire survival zone were talking about the woman at the top of the highway rankings: her spatula could beat monsters, and her cooking could keep you alive. If you want to survive, bring your ingredients and get in line.
