She was obedient and well-behaved, innocent and naive, seeing the world in black and white. That changed when she saw Zhou Yangqin again and witnessed him taking revenge. With a narrow waist and broad shoulders, the man advanced step by step, his sharp brows shadowing a pair of alluring eyes. His mood shifting without warning, he said, “Keep that little mouth of yours in check, or I’ll have someone sew it shut.” Trembling with fear, Chen Sijia resolved to stay far away from him from then on. But later, after her grandfather died, she inherited a vast fortune and found herself surrounded by wolves. She had no choice but to beg Zhou Yangqin for protection. - Those familiar with Zhou Yangqin’s temperament all said he had the face of a golden Buddha and the heart of a venomous snake. He cared nothing for even the bonds of family. When Zhou Yangqin protected Chen Sijia, everyone assumed he would skin the young woman alive. Who could have guessed that in the end, she would be the one plunging a knife into his chest? The madman even drove it two inches deeper himself, then asked with a smile, “Isn’t it nice staying by my side?” “As long as you don’t leave, you can cut me to pieces.” - Zhou Yangqin knew he was rotten to the core. For instance, even though he was Chen Sijia’s elder, he had come to covet her. When people asked if he had any humanity left, all he wanted to say was, “This feels great.”
