The Dragon Pact Era

Dragons vanished a thousand years ago. The Church says the age of miracles has passed. Scholars say the myths have faded. Only the ancient northern clans stubbornly sing the dragons' songs around their campfires. Then a sixteen-year-old bastard son crawls out of a burning estate, covered in dragon markings and clutching several eggs. His father was beheaded by a usurper, his head hung from the city gate for seven days. His mother pushed him away amid the flames, sealed the secret passage, and burned with the estate. The only reason he survived was the dragon sleeping deep within his consciousness, a creature from another world. On a continent divided among five kingdoms, the old order of iron and fire is beginning to crack. Something is spreading its wings within the fissure.
