Founder Xu Fu

In 219 BC, Qin Shihuang visited Langya in the east. Xu Shi and others from Qi State wrote a letter saying that there are three sacred mountains in the sea, named Penglai, Fangzhang and Yingzhou, where immortals live. The First Emperor was overjoyed and sent thousands of boys and girls from Xu City to the sea to seek immortals. "Historical Records: The Chronicles of Qin Shihuang" only writes so much. Over the past two thousand and one hundred years, countless people have stopped in front of this text and then hurried past. No one asked: Where did those thousands of boys and girls go? Has Xu Fu found the elixir? Where is that "plain and vast swamp"? The answer may not be found in Chinese history books. In 2026, a jade pen engraved with small seal script was unearthed in Saga Prefecture, Japan. It read: "Xu Fu, a native of Qin, led three thousand men and women, with hundreds of craftsmen and grain, to stop this plain and wide swamp, and create peace for all generations." This is not a legend, this is an echo we finally hear. But there is one question that no one can answer. When the jade gui was unearthed, it was cut open in the middle. Only half. The other half, where is it?
