In Xiamen in 2024, in the basement of an ordinary house, a wall that should not have existed suddenly led to another era. On the other side of the wall is the coast of southern Fujian more than a thousand years ago - there are no modern cities, no power grid, and no one knows why a group of strangers from the future appear here. Zhou Jingchuan and his companions originally just wanted to find out where the wall led to, but soon discovered that they were not only facing an ancient world, but also a historical node that was quietly changing: the Song Dynasty, maritime merchants, clans, wars, and a group of strangers who had noticed them. What's even weirder is that the wall doesn't seem to simply connect two eras. Why does it appear? Why in Xiamen? Who is left behind on the other side of the wall? And when they first set foot on this land, the countdown to history had already begun.
