Running a Farm Stay: Welcoming Huo Qubing from the Start

“Innkeeper, how far is it from here to Chang'an?” Xu Chuan runs a country inn. Business is mediocre, and the place is on the verge of bankruptcy. Then one night, Huo Qubing, covered in blood, pushes open the inn's door. Xu Chuan sees the Marquis Champion seal at his waist and falls silent. From then on, his inn starts receiving historical figures from different eras. Huo Qubing trades spoils taken from the Xiongnu for food, drink, and medicine. Li Qingzhao entrusts Xu Chuan with manuscripts destined to be lost. Su Shi finishes a table of delicious dishes, then writes a poem to settle the bill. Xin Qiji and Zhu Yuanzhang also show up one after another. The personal belongings left behind by the guests are all astonishingly valuable antiques in the modern world. Xu Chuan has his childhood friend Wu Xie handle the sales, while he uses the money to upgrade the inn and buy supplies. Each time he completes a reception, he can also inherit one of his guest's abilities and get the chance to enter their era. One day, Zhu Yuanzhang walks into the courtyard and sees Zhu Di, dressed in a dragon robe, drinking tea. Their eyes meet. Zhu Di drops to his knees with a thump: “Your son pays his respects to Imperial Father!”
