My Years at Sakura

It is said that 70% of campus lovers will not survive graduation. If I were the male protagonist in a light novel, I would probably think, so what. For everything in this world, someone has to fulfill the 30% dream. When I was a child, I thought love and freedom were more important than anything else. The summer was very long at that time, and there were fireflies in the evening breeze. I thought that good things would always stay lit. Later I realized that people have to live in reality after all, just like a tree that grows its roots into the soil, and has to let go of some thoughts no matter how reluctant they are. But I am still willing to write down this feeling. It is clumsy, childish, and cannot withstand scrutiny, just like every thought I hid in those years in junior high school that I did not dare to speak out. But it once really lit up one morning or dusk. I would like to write this book to pay tribute to my ideal love and this world that although not so perfect, I still live seriously.
