Raft Survival: I Drew an S-Rank Talent from the Start

[Strong female lead + no romance + light ensemble cast + easygoing power fantasy + infrastructure building + food-themed progression] Lin Yu had never had much luck in life. Raised in an orphanage, she worked odd jobs to support herself. At last, she got a weekend off and could enjoy a proper nap. She closed her eyes, then opened them again to find herself sprawled on a battered wooden raft in the middle of the ocean. A sudden voice told her this was a survival game called the “Abyssal Sea.” She was in Zone 66, where one million people had been dropped. There were dozens of other zones like it. The good news: from the start, she drew the only S-rank talent on the server, [Gourmet Spirit Resonance]. The bad news: the newbie protection period lasted only five days. After that, sea monsters would come to smash her raft. While others chewed on hardtack, she cooked meat porridge. When everyone else was starving, every meal she made granted a buff. A bowl of ginger soup restored body heat. A bowl of fried rice boosted stamina. Her one-of-a-kind talent became the server’s strongest survival skill. But she wasn’t here to open a restaurant. She was here to stay alive. If one person wasn’t enough, she’d find teammates. If her battered raft was too low-level, she’d work hard to upgrade it. Starting with a broken wooden raft, she gradually built the biggest base in the Abyssal Sea survival game. When she stood at the entrance to the Abyssal Gate, more than a hundred people were behind her. And all she said was, “Dinner’s ready.”
