Crowned in the Apocalypse: It Begins With Becoming a Zombie

“If the rules of this world have no place for me, then I’ll rewrite them myself.” Shen Li 【Female-led protagonist | No romance | Ensemble cast | Survival in the apocalypse | Rebuilding civilization】 In Year 346 of the New Era, the extremist group known as the Glory Society unsealed the Antarctic progenitor virus, triggering the global apocalypse with their own hands. Blue Star’s population of ten billion was cut by more than half, and half of all living beings became mindless, bloodthirsty walking corpses. Shen Li, who had devoted herself to virus research before the disaster, became the one exception in this catastrophe. She was completely infected by the virus, yet retained all her human reason and memories. Only her pair of crimson eyes betrayed her unusual status between the living and the dead. She had never wanted to vie for dominance in this chaotic world. All she wanted was to protect the companions by her side and find a quiet corner where they could live in peace. But in times of chaos, the weak have never been allowed to live in seclusion. The United Government saw her as a grave threat and wanted her dead; The Glory Society, the group responsible for it all, sought to capture her alive and turn her into a perfect specimen of evolution; And the zombie king ruling the wasteland regarded her as prey bound by fate, pursuing her relentlessly. Humans called her a monster, while zombies branded her a traitor. The three factions surrounded her in wave after wave, leaving her no room to catch her breath. With absolute power to suppress zombie hordes and the decisive advantage of a human’s meticulous mind, Shen Li had nowhere left to retreat. She resolved to rise against the tide! She gathered the survivors abandoned by the old world and built a new city-state among the ruins. The old civilization fell, and its decaying order crumbled. From this moment on, Shen Li would rewrite the rules of life and death on Blue Star with her own hands!
