A symbol appears in three places: The bottom of a newly unearthed clay pot. An old rubbing from the 38th year of the Republic of China. And, the edge of an ancient well deep in the mountains of southern Jiangxi. In 1994, Chen Yuanzhi, a student in the Department of Archeology, hit rock bottom - his thesis was destroyed and he was left penniless. When the little fat man placed the clay pot in front of him, what he saw was not an antique, but the only evidence of his own transformation. Two poor students, a green train heading south, just to find a long-buried secret in a mountain that can hardly be found on the map.
