Tamed and Unbound

After the accident four years ago, her stepbrother Duan Chi decided that Cheng Zhen was a gold digger who had schemed her way into his family. Four years later, Duan Chi returned to take over the company. Without a second thought, her stepfather put her at his side as his executive assistant. From then on, Duan Chi made her life difficult in every way. She had to take the hit for him when he drank, act as his chauffeur, and endure his threats to expose footage of the two of them having sex. Cheng Zhen hadn’t expected him to be so shameless. - One day, Duan Chi was brought home dead drunk and collapsed in the entryway like a dead dog. Cheng Zhen passed by, dragged him onto the sofa, and tossed a blanket over him. Duan Chi grabbed her wrist, his voice low and hoarse. “Why?” Cheng Zhen pulled her hand away. “My time is precious.” After that, the way he looked at her changed. Until Cheng Zhen could take no more and slapped her resignation letter down on his desk. Duan Chi cornered her and held her there. “Go on, try leaving.” Cheng Zhen looked up. “Duan Chi, who are you to stop me?” He lowered his head. “Your husband.” Cheng Zhen raised her hand and slapped him. “Go to hell.” - As for how they ended up together, Duan the dog used the fact that she’d forced herself on him back then to hold her virtue hostage and make her his girlfriend.
