The Nobleman at the Weiqi Board

The court of the Chongzhao Dynasty is in turmoil, and a struggle for the throne is quietly taking shape.

The “discarded pawn,” Seventh Prince Su Changliu, has bided his time for decades, determined to ascend the imperial throne;

Nan Rong Suoyi, burdened by the blood feud of her family and country, slips alone into the capital and forges an alliance with him, each intending to use the other.

As their blades clash, feelings quietly take root; as affection deepens, suspicion follows like a shadow.

The world believes that the throne will ultimately fall to one of the two.

No one knows that Princess Su Jintang, the eldest princess of the court, has long been confined to the palace by illness. Watching the tides of power rise and fall, she has already spun a vast web.

When the final move is made, every ambition and every deep affection will prove to be no more than a chip in the hands of the player.

They met over the game, but in the end, it all comes to nothing.

(A powerful female lead and an equally powerful counterpart; tragic ending)

[The dynasty and its history are entirely fictional.]
