The Evening Breeze Falls on Seventeen

Synopsis

After starting her first year of high school, Lin Zhiwan has only 4.8 vision. Unwilling to wear glasses, she sits at the back of the classroom and secretly watches her quiet, brilliant classmate, Jiang Xu, through her perpetually blurry gaze.

A classroom on a sweltering summer night, desks bathed in the orange glow of sunset. Her careful sneaking glances are unexpectedly caught by the boy, and a softly spoken question unsettles the feelings she has so carefully kept hidden. She doesn't need to see everything in the world perfectly clearly. In the hazy vision of a seventeen-year-old, a shy, budding affection quietly takes root, composing a gentle, innocent story of a secret school crush amid the evening breeze and cicadas.
