After Binding the Slacker System, the Emperor Chases Me Around

Jiang Tian transmigrates and wakes up as a lowly palace concubine whom no one in the imperial harem cares for.

The moment she arrives, she gets bound to a Slacker System.

Paying respects, following palace etiquette, actively fighting for favor, or working hard all cost her merit points.

Only lying flat and enjoying a comfortable life earns her points.

Scheming and competing in the harem is nothing but a losing proposition. She has no interest in winning the emperor's favor; she has just one goal:

Save up enough money, escape the palace, and spend the rest of her life lying flat in a little house in the city.

Every night, when security in the inner palace slackens, she sneaks past the guards, scales the wall, and slips off to the night markets of the capital.

She keeps running into a gentle, earnest commoner. While asking him about good neighborhoods to rent in, she carefully conceals the fact that she is a concubine in the imperial harem.

At a palace banquet, the man who used to stroll through the streets and chat with her sheds his commoner's robes and takes his seat in the hall wearing the imperial dragon robe.

Jiang Tian freezes in the crowd and wails inwardly:

I went to all this trouble to escape the palace and lie flat while saving money. How could I have never guessed that the person I've been spending every day with is the emperor himself?

Xiao Jingheng looks down at her flustered face, smiling warmly.

“Run all you like. Where do you think you can hide?”
