Plant Mutator: Rising to the Top from Zero in the Apocalypse

The T-Gene virus ravaged the globe, civilization collapsed, and the apocalypse began. A full year has passed.

Order has crumbled and people have grown ruthless. Survivor settlements of every size are governed by the law of the jungle, rife with deceit and betrayal. Everyone awakens a single supernatural ability with a fixed upper limit. The strong prey on the weak, while the weak cling to life. Mutated zombie hordes and out-of-control, evolving infected have become a calamity hanging over all of humanity.

Lu Chen is the apocalypse’s most unusual outsider. From the start, he awakens the one-of-a-kind dual abilities [Cultivation and Growth] and [Plant Mutation], yet everyone sees him as a top-tier good-for-nothing.

With no seeds, no greenery, and no medium to channel his powers, both abilities are useless. Unable to fight or produce resources, he can only endure and scrape by in the lower levels of the cramped Panshi Shelter, where he is ostracized, exploited, and looked down on, always at risk of being abandoned as dead weight.

No one knows that these seemingly useless plant-based abilities conceal a path to limitless evolution in the apocalypse.
