Living in a Small Courtyard

Xing Fan was diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer at the age of 28 and decided not to receive treatment. She was an orphan since she was a child. She can understand animals and has been alone all year round. She moved to live in a small courtyard on the outskirts of the city and took in several stray cats one after another. The companionship of the kitten brought a lot of warmth to her loneliness. In the spring, she found adopters for some of the cats, and finally passed away peacefully on a sunny afternoon, sitting in a rocking chair with the orange cat.
