Honghuang: I Just Transmigrated, and Houtu Wants Me to Rule Fengdu?

The Witch-Demon Tribulation has just ended. The primordial world is strewn with corpses, the netherworld has no ruler, and ghosts are everywhere. Lu Chen transmigrates here, but from the start he is neither a primordial deity nor a Saint’s disciple. He is just a blade of grass beside the Gate of Reincarnation. Fortunately, on the day he takes human form, the Unlimited Enhancement System activates. Every time a living being enters reincarnation, he gains enhancement points! He can enhance cultivation arts, magical treasures, and even the underworld! Before Houtu falls into a deep sleep after being schemed against by the Saints, she entrusts Lu Chen with Pangu Hall, the Book of Life and Death, the Judge’s Brush, and the Witch Clan’s token. “From this day on, you are the first Great Emperor Fengdu.” And so, the most inconspicuous blade of grass in the primordial world begins to govern life and death. He establishes the underworld, builds Fengdu City, appoints the Kings of Hell, and opens the Eighteen Levels of Hell! The Heavenly Court wants to interfere with reincarnation? Lu Chen opens the Book of Life and Death: “Let’s check how many years you have left to live.” The West wants to spirit away the dead? The Judge’s Brush comes down: “Dare to steal the underworld’s merit? Throw them into Hell!” Years later, the Saints look down upon the netherworld, only to see billions of Yin soldiers in formation, with Fengdu City suppressing reincarnation. Lu Chen sits upon the imperial throne: “Those who enter my underworld have their life and death in my hands.” “Even Saints are no exception.”
