With the Right Tags, I Make Every Weird Entity Work for Me

[Supernatural horrors, rules, no romance, strong female lead, special powers, cathartic read, business management, and character entries] A game of supernatural horror descends, and evil ghosts run rampant. Jian Sheng receives an inheritance letter for a shop from a distant relative and opens a small restaurant. She doesn’t know the place has been corrupted by the game. She thinks the hungry ghost in front of her is just a skinny job applicant. She doesn’t know she has awakened a special power, either. She thinks the entries in front of her are projected resumes. The entry reads: [Hungry Ghost, hiring requirement: Laotan Pickled Cabbage Noodles] Hungry Ghost: Hehehe, we ghosts eat people, and you think you can fob me off with instant noodles... Wait! I’m a hungry ghost, and I’m full! Renovation ghosts, blood-powder ghosts, shadow ghosts... all sorts of ghosts come to work for Jian Sheng. Players tremble in fear. “What?! The employees at this restaurant are ghosts? Boss Jian, aren’t you scared?” Jian Sheng: “What’s there to be scared of? Some of them like wearing oversized, colorful contacts, and others like cosplaying as little animals. But as a good boss in the modern age, I respect my employees’ hobbies!” The strangely shaped ghosts nod obediently. The boss of the game’s dungeon can’t sit still anymore. Take down that human who tricks and swindles ghosts! But before long, the dungeon boss rubs his hands together and puts on a flattering smile. “Boss, are you still hiring? What about me? Would I do?” * The character entries level up, revealing the ghosts’ weaknesses. Players: “We’ve run into a notorious ghost above Tier Ten. We’re done for!” Jian Sheng: “Don’t panic!” She glances at the entries and calmly says: “Hanging Ghost soldiers are afraid of hair dryers, Fitness Ghost generals are afraid of cartoon bandages, and Graveyard Ghost Kings are afraid of milk tea with eighty percent sugar!” ** The entries level up again, gaining the ability to fix erroneous rules with a single click. The dungeon boss’s carefully designed rules fail on the spot. Later, one phrase spreads throughout the supernatural game: “Stay away from Jian Sheng. She’s cursed!”
