A Tart Green Plum

Everyone has a story from their youth. Maybe it was an unforgettable secret crush, bittersweet yet passionate, or a campus romance that was sweet despite all the sneaking around. Told from the first-person perspective of the young Zhang Hanming through his diary, this novel recounts his youth with the heroine, Lin Yiru. It begins with awkward innocence and ends in regret. Just like their names, that regret became the sharpest thorn buried deep in Zhang Hanming's heart. The story of an all-subjects top student and a humanities whiz begins in early summer 2013, in Class Eight. This novel is based on true events.
