Forced by Debt to Mine Resources in Outer Space

One day, the protagonist’s entire family is in a car accident. With no money to pay the bills, he takes to the internet to beg for donations. Since so many people have been posing as sick patients to scam money lately, fundraising is painfully slow and utterly disheartening.

A kindhearted man meets him in person, investigates what happened, donates twenty thousand, and calls on netizens to contribute as well. After finally raising enough for the surgery, the protagonist kneels on the ground, his phone in front of him.

“Thank you, kind folks. I don’t have any money right now, but give me some time. Once I’ve saved enough, I’ll pay you back.”

When he finishes, he knocks his head against the ground several times, then turns without looking back and climbs aboard his gleaming pillar to head into space.
