Honghuang: I Am the Merit Golden Lotus, and I Become a Disciple of the Three Pure Ones from the Start

After transmigrating, Xie Yu became the Twelve-Grade Golden Lotus of Merit, born on the Three Immortal Islands at the dawn of the primordial world. With memories of his past life, Xie Yu refused to be anyone's pawn! He defied the heavens during his tribulation to take human form, cleverly drawing out the Hongmeng Measuring Heaven Ruler, a Merit Supreme Treasure, and ascending straight to the peak of the Taiyi Realm. To secure a chance at survival, he decided to enter the game of his own accord, joining Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun as a disciple and becoming the eldest disciple of the Chan Sect. Everyone knew the Three Pure Ones were at odds beneath their harmonious facade and would eventually split apart. Their disciples, too, were caught up in a web of undercurrents. But after Xie Yu arrived, the whole dynamic of the Three Pure Ones changed. Yuanshi Tianzun calmly scolded him: “Your two martial uncles and I have never gotten along. Don't go running back and forth between us.” Then he turned around and handed him a bundle of innate spiritual treasures. “Your Martial Uncle Tongtian asked me to pass these along. Don't get too close to those feathered and horned creatures under him.” Sect Master Tongtian slammed the table and roared, “My Jie Sect and the Chan Sect are sworn enemies!” But in private, he stuffed a handful of magical artifacts into Xie Yu's arms. “Take these to your eldest senior brother. It's a rice cooker made according to what he said last time. Don't tell him I gave it to you.” Yet Xie Yu's deeper designs went far beyond that. He would devour the Twelve-Grade Pure World White Lotus and the Twelve-Grade World-Destroying Black Lotus, reshape his primordial body with boundless merit, glimpse Heaven's private dealings outside the Purple Heavens Palace, and make the grand vow to wage war against Heaven and Hongjun. While everyone in the world struggled in vain to become a sage, Xie Yu already held the Measuring Heaven Ruler in his hand and stood upon the Twelve-Grade Golden Lotus of Merit. Using the laws of his own being to challenge the Heavenly Dao, he swore to attain the Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal realm and create a new world!
