Dyeing Workshop Secrets

The incident took place in the Jiangnan water town in the early years of the Republic of China, where competition in the dyeing workshop industry was fierce. The protagonist, A Xiang, is an ordinary apprentice. His father was a dyeing workshop master who suddenly disappeared three years ago. He accidentally discovered the secret account book left by his father. By interpreting the secret account, he gradually uncovered a battle for the secret dye recipe in which his father participated. The secret recipe contains a rare mineral that makes the fabric never fade, but the mineral is poisonous and can be fatal if exposed to it for a long time. In order to monopolize the secret recipe, the local chamber of commerce did not hesitate to kill people and silence them. Axiang is dealing with the owner of the dyeing shop, the forces of the chamber of commerce, and his father's old friends. He wants to protect himself, find out the truth, and maintain the business of the dyeing shop. The central conflict is this: Should you reveal your poisonous secret recipe and destroy the industry, or should you pretend not to know and survive?
