Becoming Me

This is a book of observation notes about "people" written by a fifteen-year-old girl. She observes quarrels not because she is good at war, but because she is afraid of losing control. She observes emotions not because she is naturally calm, but because she has been overwhelmed by emotions. She observes relationships not because of worldly sophistication, but because she longs to be understood but is afraid of revealing it. There are no profound psychological theories or elder-like advice in this book. There is only a young person who is going through all this, spreading her confusion, her review, and her immature but sincere thoughts in front of you. She treats daily life as a classroom, turning every conflict, every loss, and every moment of misunderstanding into a topic worth pondering. She writes this not to prove herself right, but to invite you to embark on this path together - a path about "how we grow into ourselves". This road has no end. But someone is walking. And, I am willing to leave a light for you.
