Why Does the Protagonist Always Have to Save the World?

Whenever the world falls into chaos, someone who calls themselves a hero will step forward and set off on a journey to defeat the enemy.

It sounds like the stuff of legend.

But Xu Gui doesn’t see it that way.

Though she is the protagonist and possesses a supernatural power called Word Spirit, she is firmly committed to playing it safe and just wants to be an ordinary person.

Fate, screw you!

Burdened with a task she has no choice but to complete, Xu Gui sets off on a journey to save the world (maybe?).
