Dream of the Red Chamber: A Splendid Land

Li Yu is reborn into the world of Dream of the Red Chamber. When he wakes, he discovers that he has become Li Wan's cousin and the nephew of Li Shouzhong, the former head of the Imperial College in Jinling. Just as he thinks he has been lucky enough to be born into an official family, he suddenly discovers that he has been caught up in an imperial examination fraud case. Not only is his academic status stripped away by the authorities, but he also seems to have become entangled in a struggle between two powerful factions. He could lose his life at any moment... He has no choice but to flee to Shenjing overnight and seek refuge with his elder cousin Li Wan at the Rongguo Mansion... He also discovers that the history of this world of Dream of the Red Chamber diverged dramatically as far back as the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Li Cunxu did not lose his wits to wine and women, allowing Later Tang to survive for several more decades. Guo Rong did not die young. After more than ten years of tireless reforms, he finally unified Huaxia. The original Song dynasty's founder, Zhao Kuangyin, was merely a founding hero of the Great Zhou. The Yuan dynasty was founded not by Kublai Khan, but by his father, Tolui. Most outrageous of all, the realm is now ruled by a Han dynasty founded by Chen Youliang. In this world, Zhu Yuanzhang actually lost to him... Whatever the case, see how Li Yu, a modern man, rests on a beauty's lap when drunk and wields the power of the realm when awake in this world of Dream of the Red Chamber.
