One Human and One Demon with Mental Illness: Don’t Ask How We Swept the Three Realms

[Female-led protagonist + no romance + funny and lighthearted + more or less a power fantasy] Her name is Guan Yu, and she has just graduated from the psychiatric hospital. She thought she was about to start living the good life, but a staged car accident went “crunch,” sending her straight to the underworld for tea. In a daze, she saw two furry creatures coming to greet her and immediately threw a handful of glutinous rice at them. It didn’t work. The moment she opened her eyes, a deathly pale ghost face appeared before her, and she slapped it without hesitation. Then she got chewed out. “You’re the first person in history to throw glutinous rice at Ox-Head and Horse-Face and slap an Impermanence!” What?! You want me to catch ghosts for you? Are you kidding me? She pointed with one little finger, opened her little mouth, and started cursing. Resist? Sorry, resistance is futile. And so Guan Yu was forced onto a miserable yet hilarious ghost-hunting journey. Stick talismans on bricks, and whoever gets hit is out cold. Let me show you what it means to keep up with the times: using new energy to catch ghosts cheaply and efficiently. “After pretending to be crazy and stupid for three years, the real show is finally about to begin…” (Set in a fictional world; this story is entirely made up.)
