Stop Calling Me Counselor!

On the eve of the Top Ten Lawyers Awards, forty-year-old Lin Lü collapsed from overwork. Given a second life, he chose not to study law anymore. Instead, he became a university student who just wanted to lie flat! He took exams for law students and ran a business on campus. This guy was really a piece of work in this life. Needing money for drinks, he had no choice but to return to his old profession and take on a small case. “What’s a business student doing hanging around our law school?” “I can handle cases you can’t.” His childhood friend, who had been disfigured in an international competition in his previous life, also jumped in. “Lin Lü! Can’t you take your studies seriously?” The sharp-tongued owner of a little tavern clicked her tongue in amazement. “How is this sophomore slacker suddenly kind of handsome?” “Why are you helping me?” Yu Yecao asked timidly. “So what if I want to be a jerk in this life? I’ll do whatever I want!” … After Lin Lü reluctantly got involved in various small cases around campus, the mystery of his origins that had gone unsolved in his previous life, along with the ambition he had kept hidden in his heart, quietly resurfaced.
