The Last Witch in the Abbey

Isabelle has been imprisoned in a monastery cellar for five years, forced to play the “witch” so the abbess can make money.

She can sense the warmth of the spirits in the 372 scratches on the stone walls: women who were burned alive.

When a tribunal judge comes to witness an exorcism, Isabelle awakens the spirits before everyone and exposes the abbess's scam: she has been profiting from hunting women.

The fraud is exposed, but Isabelle does not escape. She remains in her cell, using a sharp stone to carve the 3,000 names that have been erased.

She becomes the last witch, no longer playing the part of a demon, but raising a monument to the women swallowed by history.

Wrapped in a dark Gothic atmosphere, this story centers on women's awakening and asks what it means to forget and to remember.
