American Comics: Aquaman, Starting with The Boys

With his mother gravely ill, Su Yi sells his house and takes out a loan, finally scraping together enough money for her medical bills. Then, in the blink of an eye, he transmigrates into the world of The Boys and becomes one of the unfortunate passengers on Flight 37.

Faced with Homelander and a plane about to crash, Su Yi can only try to save himself. In doing so, he catches Homelander’s attention.

With Homelander constantly eyeing him like prey, Su Yi fears he could be blasted in the head by heat vision at any moment. Even worse, he worries about his bedridden mother’s safety.

Luckily, his superpower changes. Every time he alters the original plot, he gains Fantasy Points. Starting with water manipulation and a superhuman physique, he can keep unlocking new abilities. Once he meets the requirements to change careers, he can transmigrate to other worlds.

Oceanic telepathy, extreme speed, enhanced senses, amphibious survival, dominion over water, super healing…

As one skill after another unlocks, Su Yi realizes that Homelander is no longer the obstacle keeping him from going home. Instead, the whole universe lies before him like a vast sea of stars.

But a sea of stars still has “sea” in it, doesn’t it?
