A Young Lady's Path

[Ensemble cast of women + multiple heroines + several couples] The Chancellor’s household has five shining daughters, each with a distinct personality and her own strengths: the aloof, easygoing eldest; the lazy foodie second daughter; the pampered, melodramatic, medically skilled third daughter; the gentle yet resilient fourth daughter, whose talents overflow; and the quirky, martial-arts-trained youngest. Then disaster strikes, and the Chancellor’s household is confiscated and ruined. The pampered flowers who once relied on their family lose their support. The married daughters are mistreated by their husbands’ families, while those with betrothals are rejected. The once-cherished young ladies are cast from their pedestal into the mud. They struggle to survive and grow through hardship... They can be sheltered young ladies who have never lifted a finger, or heroines who stand on their own.
