This novel constructs a grand world view about "loss" and "search". It is not only a revelation of ancient books, but also a panoramic masterpiece on social life at the source of Chinese civilization. The story begins with the heroine Ji Xiaoqing (a Ph. D. Expert in modern archeology) traveling to about five thousand years ago (from the end of the Longshan Culture to the Age of the Five Emperors) due to a coma while reading a book.
