Yin Eyes

Su Wantang, a 26-year-old horror novelist, was born with a pair of "dark eyes" that can see the souls of the dead. In order to find creative inspiration, she moved into No. 137 Chang'an Road, an old Republic of China house that had been abandoned for 81 years in the old city of Jiangnan with a monthly rent of 800 yuan. On her first night, she heard cries coming from the ground, saw a strange face that was exactly like her own in the mirror, and barefoot footprints next to the bed that smelled of blood. As the exploration deepens, she discovers that a massacre occurred in this house: In pursuit of eternal life, the owner of the house, Shen Mohan, used sorcery to kill seven people, including his wife Liu Ruyan, as sacrifices, and imprisoned their souls in the soul locking array forever. The dead souls begged her for help with blood and tears, and a deeper conspiracy was also surging in the dark - the magician Xuan Mingzi, who had lived for three hundred years, had already set his sights on her rare pair of dark eyes. Su Wantang must make a choice between fear and conscience: escape, or stay and use his talents to put an end to his eighty-one years of imprisonment.
