The Poor Little One Keeps Finding Bodies, and the Whole Police Station Dotes on Her

Three-year-old Niannian is an orphan who survives by rummaging through trash cans. Ever since she awakened the ability to see bullet comments, she’s either picking up corpses or on her way to pick up another one. [A missing college student is buried in the bushes ahead. The killer hasn’t gone far!] Niannian digs up a bloodstained piece of cloth and gives it to the police, helping them crack a serial burial case. She gets the reward money and enjoys a hearty meal. The next day, the bullet comments update with a location: [Two hundred meters upstream from the west suburb riverbank. A large rock is wedged against a floating corpse.] Following the directions, Niannian really does fish a black body bag out of the river, solving a cold dismemberment case that had gone unsolved for three years. From then on, every place where a body is hidden, whether sealed in concrete or stashed in a dry well, is marked in advance by the bullet comments. Following their directions, Niannian always finds the body parts, murder weapons, and concealed evidence with pinpoint accuracy. At first, the detectives think Niannian is just babbling. But every time they follow up on a body she has found and a clue she has provided, the criminals are caught and the cold cases are solved one by one. The entire police station is won over. The duty room is piled high with snacks and toys. The criminal investigation captain personally takes her to and from school every day, while the station chief, forensic doctors, and officers take turns looking after her, all turning into fiercely protective guardians. As Niannian follows the bullet comments and finds more and more bodies, a child’s corpse around her own age turns up. The bullet comments fall silent in an instant. After a long while, they slowly reveal the truth about Niannian’s past.
