Slacking Off on a Dating Show, I Became a Legend with Fireworks

On the wildly popular dating show watched by the whole country, a group of handsome men and beautiful women are busy flirting and playing hard to get. The only one holding down the kitchen is 35-year-old chef Lin Sui. With a bowl of dumplings or a pot of steaming noodles, he uses the comforts of home cooking to soothe everyone, while his clear-eyed views on love win over countless fans. Even the sharp-tongued female chef specializing in Western cuisine gradually falls for him. No one knows that this laid-back uncle spends his nights quietly writing heartwarming stories. He joined the dating show just to make up the numbers and cook, but ended up becoming its most popular contestant. Lin Sui, a 35-year-old chef who has never been in a relationship, doesn’t fake a couple pairing or play games. His home-cooked meals warm people’s hearts. The haughty Western cuisine chef keeps coming by to challenge him, and the female guests keep making advances, but he remains unruffled: “All I can do is take responsibility for myself.”
