In the Beast World, I Conquer the World with a Farming System

Shang Wen was a hamster beastkin from the countryside until she unexpectedly transmigrated to a primitive society thousands of years in the past. Forced to submit to the System, she had to take the hoe it gave her and start clearing land and growing vegetables from scratch on a vast, barren grassland in the middle of nowhere. To take her little dragon cub off the seemingly endless grassland and find its birth parents, she worked hard to farm and raise the dragon, hoping it would grow up and fly them out of there. When you have nothing, you create it with your own hands. No water? Dig a well. No fertilizer? Burn grass and wood into ash. There are always more ways than difficulties, and with the System, how hard could raising one little cub be? At first, Shang Wen planned to raise the cub and then lie flat. She never expected that farming would make her the beastfolk world's largest grain supplier. She gave wandering beastfolk a safe place to live, taught hunter-gatherers to farm, and helped beastfolk tribes dig wells to get through difficult dry seasons. She only wanted to make a little money, but her followers were far too capable. She merely had to show up, and the imperial robes were already on her shoulders. What was she supposed to do? You really have put poor little Mouse through the wringer. Well, there's nothing for it now. All hail King Mouse! [Not sure if this counts as a matriarchy, but it probably does.] [In this story, females hold power. Any extreme opinions are entirely intentional on the author's part.]
