Tongguanyue

In the troubled times of the late Ming Dynasty, Shen Yan, the daughter of the Tongguan guard, fled south with a Wanli arrowhead embedded in a city brick. She used the embroidery needle as a pen and the mountains and rivers as paper to embroider the wind and snow in Tongguan, the roar of the Yellow River, and the loyal souls of the soldiers who defended the city into every stitch. When the rain from the south of the Yangtze River fell on the embroidered fabric, she finally understood: the city will be destroyed, people will perish, but only the mountains, rivers and memories will last forever.
