The Light Is There

A Deng is a small talking lamp in the grocery store in Huaian Town. She is also a little girl wearing a red cloak with a small flame on her head who always likes to say "here you are". She was very small, with short hands, short legs, and not very courageous. She was afraid of the dark, afraid of being left behind, afraid of being useless, afraid that one day it would be dark and no one would want her. But she always wants to share her little bit of light with others. When someone was walking at night, she held up a small lamp to accompany him; when someone was wronged, she took out the "bad guy's ledger" to help him make a note; when someone was too sad to speak, she gave him a "hug coupon"; when someone was too tired to stop, she put up a "wait a minute sign"; when someone lost something important, she held a "find box" and carefully helped them find it. She is not a powerful person, nor can she solve all problems immediately. But she will hear, respond, accompany, and seriously tell everyone who is about to die: "The light is here." This is a daily story about companionship, healing, grievance, bravery and slowly glowing. A Deng is afraid of the dark, but A Deng cannot be extinguished.
