Su Zhaoning, a 26-year-old doctoral student, walked into a pub called "Elsewhere" on a late autumn night when the experimental data was rejected by his supervisor for an unknown number of times. After a glass of sweet plum wine, she opened her eyes again - she was 16 years old again, wearing a strange yet familiar school uniform, lying on the bed in the infirmary. This world is full of weirdness: the characters in the novel she wrote when she was 18 are standing vividly in front of her; her late grandfather calls her "classmate" on the phone; and her long-distance boyfriend Lu Heng has become an intern psychology teacher in the school who does not remember her. Su Zhaoning soon discovered that this seemingly "perfect" synthetic world was slowly eroding her desire to go back. At the same time, cracks began to appear in the rules of this world - the created characters began to have self-will that they should not have, and her mentor seemed to know the real reason for all this. That glass of wine is the key, that door is the exit. But when the door really appeared, Su Zhaoning found himself faced with a choice he had never thought of - Stay or go back? And behind Lu Heng's silence, there was an answer that she didn't dare to face.
