The 1980s: The Feisty Darling Wins Over the Icy Factory Director

Cheng Meili transmigrates and becomes a pampered girl who loves eating and hates working, only to be bundled off to an machinery factory as an apprentice. Everyone laughs that she won’t last three days, but Cheng Meili binds to the [Mood Exchange System], where making a fuss earns her Snowflake cream and Dacron clothes! Today she complains that grease has ruined her new dress; tomorrow she talks back until a sharp-tongued old master craftsman cries. The whole factory thinks she’s a menace, but the only one who keeps cleaning up her messes is the abstinent, icy factory director, Lu Chuan. Cheng Meili’s eyes light up. Isn’t the biggest “troublemaker points” ATM the factory director himself? So she turns things up a notch, making the whole factory go haywire just to watch Director Lu get a headache over her. But as she keeps causing trouble, she notices that his gaze is getting stranger and stranger. Then he pins her in a corner against the wall. “Cheng Meili, keep this up, and you’ll be causing trouble at my house for the rest of your life.”
