[Unlimited live comments are now open] Gu Rong, about to graduate, decided she had to find a job. She needed proof of an internship to graduate, and she also had to repay the mortgage on the S City apartment her parents had impulsively helped her make a down payment on. Gu Rong realized she'd transmigrated, but before she could even process that, she became the team's manager. Samsara was already strapped for cash after signing just one player, Zhou Zekai. Gu Rong's take: “First things first, we need to make money. How else will we buy players? She wanted to rebuild the roster from scratch, and the other teams started competing to do the same. She took Samsara from broke to well-funded, and from a mid-tier team to a star powerhouse. Even the people who'd insulted her at first eventually fell silent. “Me after buying the merch: Stop releasing new stuff! We Samsara fans are broke, okay? Me every time I see new merch: I really want to buy it!” “Maybe Samsara will make mistakes in the future, but Sister Rong will never be to blame!” “Sister Rong isn't the prince's mom! She's the most loving empress dowager Samsara could ask for!” [Timeline begins at the end of S4.] [Centered on Samsara.] [Many original characters, including players from other teams who get recruited to Samsara.]
