Before Chongzhen's Fall, the System Lends Him Five Thousand Black-Armored Troops

[Ming Dynasty + Emperor + Hegemony + Empire Restoration System] Zhu Youjian's soul transmigrates into the body of the Chongzhen Emperor on March 15, 1644, just three days before Beijing falls. The entire court is sharpening its knives, ready to open the gates and surrender the city, trading the emperor for wealth and status in the new dynasty. Escape is impossible, defending the city is impossible, and the fall of the dynasty is at hand. At first, he only wants to give these sanctimonious, hypocritical, selfish beasts a thorough tongue-lashing at court. Before he dies, he plans to take a few fainthearted cowards down with him. That would at least vent the fury he felt as a future reader of history, confronted with this humiliating chapter. It would make his day as emperor of the Ming worthwhile. But he discovers he cannot even do that: the imperial guards have long since fallen under someone else's secret control. If so, he'd rather die and spatter these people with his blood. Just as he draws his sword, resolved to die, the [Empire Restoration System] suddenly awakens. Betting his life, he successfully borrows five thousand Black Armored Cavalry from the System for three days. He will use them to cut down the Manchu army until heads roll, and make Li Zicheng afraid to lay a finger on the capital!
