Hong, the Conqueror of the Qing

At the Battle of Songjin, Hong Chengchou was captured.

Huang Taiji sent the beauty Dorgon to seduce him into surrendering.

Hong Chengchou pushed his adopted son forward instead.

Hong Shiyuan: ?

On the night that misunderstanding took place, he made his choice.

Dorgon wanted to kill him, so he made Dorgon die.

Shunzhi wanted to investigate him, so he made Shunzhi die.

Dayu'er wanted to tie him up, so he made her unable to leave him.

Years later, Kangxi ascended the throne.

The history books said: An emperor for the ages, son of Shunzhi.

Hong Shiyuan replied: Right, right, you say what you like.

After all, someone still had to shoulder the tombstone bearing the name “Huang Zhuowu.”
