Rebuilding the British Empire, Starting at Dunkirk

Lin An, a special forces instructor, wakes up in Dunkirk in 1940 after his soul possesses the body of an ordinary dispatch rider in the British 51st Highland Division.

Rommel's 7th Panzer Division is about to crush the British lines in the south beneath its tank treads. As multiple defensive lines collapse, Lin An impersonates a fallen aristocratic major to improve his chances of survival. Using a nearly omnipotent minimap, he must find a way out amid the doubts of the fleeing soldiers and the German army's relentless encirclement.

But Lin An has no idea that the fiancée of the major he has impersonated has sailed alone across the English Channel in a yacht, traveling hundreds of miles across the battlefield to find her husband.

The woman comes from the Spencer family.

And so a deception that began with a lie starts spiraling further and further out of control.

To keep the ruse going, he must fight his way from the deadly ambush at Oleville to the bloody breakout at Dunkirk. Using the tactical expertise of an elite special forces soldier, he takes on German armored formations, rallies scattered troops, and turns the tide against all odds, rewriting a fate that seemed destined for ruin. He must not only lead the soldiers trapped in this desperate situation to fight their way home, but also save the British Empire from collapse. Starting on the beaches of Dunkirk, he will gradually restore the unrivaled glory of the empire on which the sun never sets!
