Strange National Fate: I’m the Purple-Robed Celestial Master, Carrying the Dragon Kingdom

Zhang Daofeng, the most gifted and deadliest Celestial Master in the history of Longhu Mountain. In his previous life, after mastering his cultivation arts, he spent a full sixty years eradicating every evil spirit in the world. His accumulated merit soared to the heavens, and he was on the verge of ascending to immortality. That day, the Jade Emperor even appeared to him in a dream, offering him a place among the immortals as a Thunder Department deity. It was the kind of opportunity countless people could only dream of. Yet he refused. “This poor Daoist only wishes to rid the world of every evil spirit.” “The human race is in decline. Although I have purged every evil spirit from this realm, how many humans across the Myriad Worlds are still suffering?” “Taking a place among the immortals would naturally be wonderful, but becoming a deity means severing ties with the mortal world and leaving the mundane behind. That is not what I have pursued all my life.” “I am grateful for the Jade Emperor’s esteem. If possible, I am willing to relinquish my position as a Thunder Department deity. I ask the Jade Emperor to grant me the chance to be reborn into the mortal world.” Later, he successfully reincarnated in Longguo, where bizarre dungeons had descended. From the start, he entered the S-rank dungeon, ‘Fengmen Village,’ but everyone doubted him, convinced he was nothing more than a Taoist who knew a few flashy tricks and was as good as dead! The people of Longguo were utterly despairing! But then Zhang Daofeng began unleashing the Five Thunder Rites, the Golden Light Mantra, the Six Jia Secret Blessings, the Celestial Step Ritual, the Art of Visualization and Divine Transformation... He even summoned the Ten Kings of Hell, Emperor Guan, the Great Emperor of Fengdu, the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas, the Celestial Worthy of Universal Transformation by Thunder in the Nine Heavens, and a host of other deities to possess him. The people of Longguo were dumbstruck. “Daoist Zhang is awesome!” “Bizarre horrors? They’re toys in Daoist Zhang’s hands!” “But she’s clearly a little girl!”
