Lord of Divine Authority: From the Start, I Contract a Slave Witch

On the Continent of Divine Grace, a lord’s authority is granted by the gods. A noble title is not merely the name of a social rank, but a divine authority recognized by the world. Every lord can also form a pact with a “Divine Grace Witch,” an incarnation of a god. A soul from Blue Star transmigrates here and is born as Weiss Wilson, the son of Count Wilson, who has suffered from a strange affliction for eighteen years. At last, his family casts him aside, sending him to a remote, desolate territory on the empire’s northern frontier under the title of “Pioneer Baron.” He is appointed lord of the dangerous Frosthold. Once he gains a territory, the mystery surrounding Weiss’s time in the womb is suddenly resolved. And his unusual “inexplicable soul” means that the Divine Grace Witches he can contract with are no longer limited by race or number. Learning how dire his situation is, Weiss remarks, “Sheesh, being a noble sure isn’t easy...” When Weiss’s name resounds across the world: [The people of Frosthold: “Praise our merciful lord! I never dreamed I could live such a prosperous life.”] [The White Kite Empress, Lena Austin White Kite: “Damn it! Whoever recommended Weiss as a pioneer lord should have been hanged!”] [The nobles: “Oh, damn it! Weiss must be the devil god’s envoy. His soldiers are all demons!”] [Bards sing his praises: “For all eighteen years since His Majesty Weiss was born, the gods have constantly taught him. That is why he is so beloved by them.”] [Cat-eared girl Saila: “Mmm... Lord Weiss is wonderful.”] [The Knight Goddess’s Divine Grace Witch: “Weiss, don’t even think about skipping class again tonight...”]
