There Is a Big Problem with This Medieval Lord System

Lu Ming woke up in a hospital, only to find that he had transmigrated to a somewhat complicated world.

Giant mechs filled the skies, cybernetic implants were commonplace, and martial arts were in steady decline. The Great Yan Federation was losing ground under attack from a coalition of nations. It signed an unequal treaty, bringing a brief peace.

Lu Ming furrowed his brow. “Infinite System, come out!”

Ding! Host has awakened the strongest medieval lord System.

But it was already the twenty-first century. Where was he supposed to find a medieval lord?

To his surprise, the System shouted, “You’ll adapt!”

When Lu Fei became a local police officer:

[Congratulations, Host. You have been ennobled as a lord and made a knight.] Reward: a seed of battle aura and a powered mech.

When he became a provincial governor:

[Congratulations, Host. You have become a great lord.] Reward: access rights to subspace.

???

Later, as ruler of Earth, Lu Fei sighed. “Good grief, I’m actually the Emperor of Mankind.”

[This is not a farming novel.]
